After seening your galeries I can say you know your stuff, real nice man. Fractals seem to be your strong point, mostly 2D but I've seen some art wokrs on 3D also. Can you tell about your programming laguage of choice, your source of inspiration? want to know something about my draws?. Always interested in sharing advance graphic ideas.

I started to know what is fractal with a book in library has little info back in high school. At the time I was good in ASM n C++, so making graphic wasn't the big deal. But took me months to find out how to render the first stuff. Things that they taught in school is useless. Just playing with codes and stuff then figured out.

C++ and Python. I also do C# for the speed problems in C++. Inspiration? hm, few people, but most were inspired from my math teacher. I was the anti social type, so came late to the fractal world.

Aren't u in Fractalforums??? Or you are friend of lyc? Man your stuff in very nice, I just wondering how u make "fold the bar three-leaf clover" so real???

thankx for sharing your info!, I feel identified with much of the stuff (C++, ASM, starting with fractals because a book in the library, more interested in geek stuff than socializing...). This is a long path, so much to learn, totally worth it thou.

I meet lyc at ompf, he pointed me out deviantart and invite me to joint gfxcoders, he has been so right.

Fold the bar three-leaf clover is a render of Raydiosity engine (which is now obsolete). Is constructed in a very similar way as blueberry hiper snowflake. Take a cube then put a smaller cube on each face and repeat that several times. Finally substitute every polygon for it's sides (using cylinders) and vertex (using spheres). I'm now working at Raydiant engine, and soon a improved version of this green 3D fractal is going to be posted. Theres more info at albertoven.com

hi man! I've created an account here as you advise me. Your work is very interesting. Is really awesome. As you are a c++ graphic coder we probably have interesting thinks to talk about (your amazing coral rift render comes to mind). I'm a newby here so may be you could give some advice, for example about how to join gfx coder group ;-)

i invited you to join it as a contributor, if you look around the top for your messages, you should be able to find something there :) have a look around!

it is my hope to start working on indigo renderer sometime soon, which means of course i won't have time for fractal stuff :hmm:
